It seems like Gwyneth Paltrow will do anything to stay youthful. In a recent interview with New York Times, the 43-year-old actress opened up that she underwent a series of treatments to make her look young and feel healthy, including getting stung by bees.
The ex-wife of Chris Martin admitted that it was painful, but she wouldn't mind doing anything when it comes to her appearance and health. "I've been stung by bees," she revealed. "It's a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It's actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it's painful."
She also explained other beauty treatments that she took recently, like using only mineral sunscreens and avoiding any chemical substance. Besides, she stopped wearing any fragrances because "it's unregulated and all that."
In another interview, Gwyneth said that she's feeling great about her age as she encouraged other women to be more confident with their bodies, no matter what other people said. "I wish more women had told me that at 40 you sort of stop worrying about what other people think about you, and you come into yourself in the most phenomenal way," she shared. "I think the 40s are such a gift, and I feel more beautiful now than I did 10 years ago or 20 years ago."
