A new report claims that the singer made the decision because 'she's still very new to motherhood and doesn't want to miss out on Angelo growing up.'

AceShowbiz - It's just been a few months since Adele said "Hello" to her fans, but she's already been rumored to plan another lengthy break. Citing a source, The Sun reports that the 27-year-old singer has told her friends that she will take a five-year hiatus once she wraps her tour.

"She has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album," says the source, who goes on saying that the "When We Were Young" hitmaker's son Angelo is the reason behind her decision.

"She's still very new to motherhood and doesn't want to miss out on Angelo growing up," the source explains. "It will be a hard thing for fans to hear."

Adele put out her latest album, "25", last November. The chart-topping set, which immediately landed atop the charts and broke multiple records upon its arrival, was released more than four years after its equally successful predecessor, 2011's "21".

Adele has been hitting the road to promote her latest studio effort. Currently in Europe, the tour will be brought to North America later this year and is scheduled to conclude in Mexico City on November 15.
