A failed wedding, an Ed Sheeran cameo, a baby on the way and a serious complication are teased in the first trailer for the third Bridget Jones film.

"Bridget Jones's Baby" has premiered its first trailer ahead of the September 16 release in the U.S. Reene Zellweger reprises her role as the titular character while Colin Firth returns as her ex and Patrick Dempsey is tapped as a new love interest.
The video kicks off with a failed wedding and shows Jones' sad life as a single woman. She later takes a new career opportunity, runs into Ed Sheeran, reunites with a man from her past, and then gets rescued a la Cinderella by a very charming man.
From being a sad lonely woman, she suddenly has two men vying for her attention and then finds out she's pregnant but the problem is, she is not sure who the father is. "Did you have a three-way?" her mother asks in shock when she breaks the news. The complications lead to awkward doctor visits.
