After teased through several photos and short promos, the official preview for the "Supergirl" / "The Flash" crossover is finally released for fans' viewing pleasure. The video offers a look at the two's first encounter, their friendly banters and their team-up to fight against Silver Banshee and Livewire.

Titled "World's Finest", the 18th episode of "Supergirl" season 1 will air Monday, March 28 at 8/7c on CBS. According to the official synopsis, Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, a.k.a. Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.

Andrew Kreisberg who executive produces both shows recently told EW that Supergirl and The Flash didn't exist in the same universe. Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Grant Gustin) ends up meeting Kara a.k.a. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) after he uses a tachyon device that causes him to run so fast he literally ends up in an alternate universe.

Talking about the two superheroes' relationship, Benoist said, "He teaches her quite a bit about what it means to be a hero, what kind of hero she wants to be, and even personally about love, friendship, and being true to who you are. It feels really good for her to have someone to relate to."
