The 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' matriarch is hoping to lose at least 80 more pounds following the procedure.

Mama June Shannon of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is set to undergo gastric sleeve surgery. According to TMZ, the mother of Honey Boo Boo a.k.a. Alana Thompson decided to go under the knife to find a safer weight loss solution after falling unconscious several times.
Sources tell the site that Mama June will undergo the procedure later this month and hopes to lose at least 80 more pounds. The 36-year-old reality star has been making effort to slim down so she would be healthy enough for the surgery. She has already dropped 90lbs.
Dr. Michael Feiz in Beverly Hills who's dubbed as "sleeve specialist" will perform the procedure on Mama June.
Earlier this month, Mama June was rushed to hospital after collapsing at her Georgia home. Her daughter Pumpkin took her to the hospital after she repeatedly fainted following her strict diet. She admitted that she hadn't eaten much at the time.
Back in January, Mama June underwent fat-freezing procedure to get rid of her "turkey neck." She turned to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to try out the trendy new procedure as she was bothered by the small area of stubborn fat. The fat-freezing procedure kills fat by freezing it and is said to usually takes around eight weeks for clients to sees results.
