Meanwhile, Jackson Douglas has been confirmed to return as husband to Melissa McCarthy's Sookie, though McCarthy has not signed up to reprise her role.

AceShowbiz - Dean is back in Stars Hollow. Jared Padalecki has offered the first glimpse of his character's return for "Gilmore Girls" revival by posting on Twitter Friday, February 19 his picture on the set of the upcoming Netflix series. "#FlashbackFriday #GilmoreGirlsRevival 'Nuff Said," he captioned it, and it's enough to make out hearts flutter.

Those who expect to see Rory (Alexis Bledel) reuniting with Dean should not keep their hopes too high though, since he's not the only Rory's ex-boyfriend who will return for the continuation. Milo Ventimiglia and Matt Czuchry have been confirmed to reprise their roles as Rory's former love interests Jess Mariano and Logan Huntzberger respectively.

Meanwhile, Jackson Douglas has just announced his return for the revival. He will reprise his role as Jackson, husband to Sookie, though Melissa McCarthy has not signed up to return as Lorelai's (Lauren Graham) best friend.

Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Yanic Truesdale, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, David Sutcliffe, Sean Gunn, Vanessa Marano and Emily Kuroda are also back for the four-episode revival. Sutton Foster is first new cast member tapped for the show.
