The Deadpool depicter and his wife are beaming as they make their first red carpet appearance together for the first time since becoming parents.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had their first public date night as parents at the "Deadpool" fan event on Monday, February 8 in New York City. The actor and his actress wife, who welcomed their daughter James in January 2015, couldn't stop smiling on the red carpet as they made a picture-perfect couple.
Reynolds, who plays the title character in the movie based on Marvel comics, looked dapper in a navy suit and tie with a polka dot button-down underneath. "Gossip Girl" alumna Lively was also flawless in a Chanel Couture dress with colorful rhinestone embellishments which she paired with sparkling strappy heels.
Star Morena Baccarin, who is currently pregnant with her and boyfriend Benjamin McKenzie's child, also attended the event. Rocking a black dress with sheer sleeves, she was joined by the "Gotham" actor.
"Deadpool" centers on the titular hero who, armed with his new abilities he gets after undergoing a rogue experiment, hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, it is set to open in theaters nationwide on February 12.
Recently, "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Olivia Munn shared an Instagram video showing her and Ryan Reynolds sparring in a funny showdown. While the actress showed her impressive swordplay, the "Deadpool" hunk wasn't even a match to her with his balloon sword.
