Nathan Darrow has been spotted in costume as Mr. Freeze on the set of "Gotham". The show has introduced his character in the fall finale and featured the new villain in several promos, but none of them gives a look at his costume as clear as the set photos do.
The images show Darrow walking around the set in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City on Thursday, February 4 while wearing Mr. Freeze's cryogenic suit. He took off his hood but still donned the red goggles.
He was apparently filming scenes that will also involve David Mazouz's Bruce Wayne and Sean Pertwee's Alfred Pennyworth as the three are seen posing together in another image. The young Batman and his loyal butler will somehow get injured, but it's unclear if the injuries are caused by Mr. Freeze or someone else.
"Gotham" returns Monday, February 29 at 8 P.M. ET on FOX. The second half of the second season will center on the "Wrath of the Villains", including Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) and Mr. Freeze.
Jada Pinkett Smith is additionally set to reprise her role as the infamous crime boss, Fish Mooney, in multiple episodes.
