Reality star Amy Duggar is looking forward to put her family's dark past behind. One of the people featured in TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" has hired an agent that would fix her reputation after the scandals surrounding cousin Josh Duggar.

Josh's sex scandal broke out in May last year. It was revealed he had molested children, including his own sisters, and had extramarital affairs. Amy said at that time she knew nothing about the molestation and her reaction was just like most people. "Rage came over me, sadness crept in, and reality sat in that the person I had known my entire life turned out to be a fraud, and a complete stranger," she wrote on her blog.

In a new interview with NY Daily News' Confidenti@l, Amy revealed how she's trying to separate herself from the scandals. "I think that you're responsible for your own decisions and Joshua made the wrong ones, but that doesn't have to affect the rest of us. I feel like the whole family feels that way as well," she said.

CEG Talent is now managing her career which includes public appearances, advertisings, and media campaigns. CEG's CEO Michael Schweiger said, "That show had such a huge fan base, and a very loyal fan base, especially in Middle America. (Theirs is a) a big family, it's a loving family; America fell in love with that. But one small thing, the network, TLC, dropping the show and all the negative press that came with it, it wasn't fair to lay that press on everybody else in the family."

The so-called rebellious Duggar appeared on the latest cover of PEOPLE magazine in tiny shorts and belly-baring top. "I am religious. However, that doesn't mean we have to live with so many rules and so many things that hold us back," she said, adding, "I like being the relatable one. It's not that they're weird, it's not that they're crazy. It's just really extra conservative to the extreme."
