Melissa Benoist's superhero character is set to team up with Grant Gustin's Speedster in an upcoming episode of 'Supergirl'.

After long chatters, a crossover between CBS' "Supergirl" and The CW's "The Flash" is finally confirmed. It's officially announced that Grant Gustin will pop up as a Speester in an episode of the Melissa Benoist-led series. It's scheduled to air March 28.
"Secret is out. @melissabenoist and I are gonna get to have some fun on Supergirl together..," Gustin posted on Instagram along with a picture of him hanging out with Benoist. Both are decked out in their superhero costumes.
"We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we started making 'Supergirl' - The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up!" said executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg.
"We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone's enthusiasm and support."
