Bryan Cranston got a chance to watch his younger self making a cameo on "Baywatch" and he shed a tear. The Oscar-nominated actor jokingly welled up when E!'s 2016 SAG Awards red carpet host Giuliana Rancic asked about his role as Tom Logan.

In the 1989 episode, Logan was on board a speedboat and wearing aviators. "Oh, wow. I don't understand how that could have been overlooked for the Emmys or the SAG Awards. It brings a tear to my eye every time," Cranston told Rancic while pretending to wipe his eyes.

Rancic asked whether he thought that moment led to his SAG Awards nomination on Saturday, January 30. "No, I believe my secret for that character is he had diarrhea. Thanks for digging that up - a gem," the 59-year-old actor said.

Cranston went on starring on comedy series "Malcolm in the Middle" before shifting to more serious role on AMC's "Breaking Bad". He was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a lead role in a motion picture category at the SAG awards for "Trumbo" but sadly did not win. He is nominated for his first Oscar for the same role.
