Jennifer Aniston will lead the cast of sports-themed film "The Fixer (2018)". The "Friends" alum will portray Denise White, the former Miss Oregon USA who became the only female sports manager in the NFL and found a sports firm for high-end athletes.

Deadline which first broke the news reported that Fox 2000 acquired the pitch from "Dallas Buyers Club" co-writer Melisa Wallack in addition to White's life rights and rights to her Men's Journal profile titled "The Woman Who Bails Out the NFL's Bad Boys" written by Paul Solotaroff.

The article chronicles White's life from her placement in foster homes as the neglected daughter of a mentally-unstable mother to her career parenting troubled sports players whom larger agencies refuse to take on. She worked overtime to extricate them from all kinds of crises including paternity claims, expensive entourage members and drug and sexual assault allegations.

Former Atlanta Falcons athlete Ephraim Salaam said of White in the article, "She's the world's most expensive babysitter, because some dudes keep repeating childish things....And trust me when I tell you, she steps to them strong, but there's that handful of guys who don't hear it first time out. Or the third or fourth time, either."

Apparently approving of the casting of Aniston, White retweeted some articles covering the casting announcement on Thursday, January 28. She also thanked some of her Twitter followers who congratulated her on the news.

Aniston will also produce "The Fixer" along with Kristin Hahn, Steve Barnett and Bernie Goldmann. There are no words regarding who will helm the project and when the production will start.
