According to Mike Colter who plays Luke Cage, an actor has been cast in the coveted role of Danny Rand.

Mike Colter has let the cat out of the bag. In an interview with Collider about "Marvel's Jessica Jones" season 2 and his upcoming series, the Luke Cage depicter revealed that an actor had been cast in the role of Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist for the fourth Marvel/Netflix's series.
"The actor has been cast, but he's in a basement somewhere," he said. "When the time is right, they'll let him up and tell him where he is. I am [excited]." On whether he would show up on "Iron Fist" series, Colter said, "I'll get a nice little break, after doing Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Whether I'm in [his show], I don't know, but there's The Defenders."
So, who has landed the coveted role of Iron Fist? Now, we can only wait for Marvel's official announcement to find out who will headline the upcoming series.
Iron Fist is a practitioner of martial arts and the wielder of a mystical force. In the comic books, he and Luke Cage are often paired up together.
