Zayn Malik has announced the title of his upcoming solo studio album. During a chat with Beats 1 Radio's Zane Lowe, the former One Direction star revealed his solo effort would be called "Mind of Mine", adding that he wrote about 46 to 47 songs.

"That was amazing. I did that for five years, enjoyed it. We had some of the best times ever. This is something that is for me. This is the music that I grew up listening to. This is the influences I had. This is what I have to say."

— Beats 1 (@Beats1) January 28, 2016The interview was filmed inside a stadium in Zayn's hometown of Bradford, England. On Twitter, he shared, "It was freezing in the stadium so excuse my chattering teeth in interview haha ! Need to be up north more often, Bradford cold is real."
The British singer is going to debut his first single "Pillowtalk" on January 29. A music video is expected to follow soon afterwards while the album is reportedly planned for a March release.
