The 'Django Unchained' actor shared with his 1.7 million Instagram followers a photo featuring himself and the man's father, who hugged him while crying.

AceShowbiz - After saving the life of a man named Brett Kyle from a burning car outside his house, Jamie Foxx had an emotional meeting with the victim's father. One day after the accident, the "Django Unchained" star posted on Instagram a photo of himself encountering Brett's father, who appeared to break down in tears while hugging the 48-year-old actor.
"Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters," Jamie captioned the emotional photo. "That a man, a son, a brother's life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us...No heroes...Just happy fathers."
In an interview with ABC 7 News, Jamie explained the details of the accident and how he could save Brett. "He has EMT scissors. He hits the glass, I climb in and try to hit his seat belt, but he's hovered over, so the seat belt is on him. So I grabbed the scissors from him, cut the seat belt, but it's on his neck. So I cut it off his neck," Jamie said.
"And then, as the flames do come into the cabin, I lean back, but I think what it did is it hit his legs, which made him extend. And when he extends out of the cabin, pull him out. And as we pull him out, within five seconds later, the truck goes up," he added.
The news outlet also managed to interview Brett's father. He couldn't help but crying when he acknowledged the person who saved his son from the near-death accident. "It doesn't matter to me who it was, or what they do for a living, or whatever. Just the idea that someone would do that is so much more than I can fathom," he said. "It's all tears of joy. He's got two sisters and a brother, they would've lost their brother if it wasn't for him."
The accident happened on Monday night, January 18. According to Jamie's rep, "the actor rushed to the scene after the driver lost control of the vehicle, skidded off the road and flipped the car, which then burst into flames." The driver was later "arrested for driving under the influence."
