Madonna landed in hot water after her "Rebel Heart" tour stop in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, January 16. In a video captured by one of the concertgoers, the Material Girl seemed to be hammered as she rambled on before her performance.
According to multiple reports online, Madge kicked off her gig at KFC Yum! Center three hours late. When the singer finally showed up, she angered some of the crowd by mocking locals with a fake hillbilly accent. She was also rumored to flub her lyrics.
Instead of apologizing, she later poked fun at herself by posting a picture of herself lying on the floor at her show with a caption that seemed to confirm that she's indeed tipsy. "Working on my stand up laying down," she wrote, adding a couple of wine glass emojis. "Good practice!!! Thanks Louisville! The tears of a clown soon to follow the #rebelheartour."
Madonna recently said that she was going through a challenging time in her life as she became estranged from her son Rocco. The teenager had been traveling across the globe with his singer mother during her tour but he left in December to stay with his father, Guy Ritchie, and refused to return home for the holidays.
