'Making a Modeler' is a faux documentary that hopefully will explain how Derek Zoolander became Derek Zoolander.

Derek Zoolander became the face that changed the world. A promotional poster of "Zoolander 2" spoofs Netflix's latest phenomenon "Making a Murderer" by changing the face of Steven Avery to Zoolander's.
"No seriously... Who made this? #yeah #makingamodeler #zoolander2 #binge," Zoolander posted the poster on his official Instagram account. The poster is promoting a faux documentary called "Making a Modeler". The picture is part young Ben Stiller and part the actor as Zoolander sporting the signature "Blue Steel" look.
Zoolander also appears in a romantic perfume ad which is starring Penelope Cruz and Owen Wilson. The trailer is selling a faux fragrance called "Zoolander No. 2". The caption read, "The No. 1 gift this Valentine's Day is No. 2. #Zoolander2."
