Now he's officially engaged. Kim Kardashian's former boyfriend Ray J confirmed that he had proposed to girlfriend and "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" co-star Princess Love.
Both Ray J and Love posted pictures of the giant diamond ring on Instagram. They have also appeared on the cover of OK! Magazine where he dished out details of the proposal. "It was all a surprise - she had no idea," Ray J told the magazine. "We were going to Arizona; I got the private jet and called her best friends and parents to come out the day after Christmas, and they hid on the plane ...I pulled out the ring, and I started crying." Love said she also "cried like a baby."
A picture of the proposal, which appeared on the magazine, showed Ray J kneeling before Love in front of a private plane. "She's a true ride-or-die woman for me," Ray J commented on his fiancee whom he has been dating for more than a year. The younger brother of singer Brandy also told Radar Online, "She is the most important person to me."
But not everything were bees and butterflies in their romance. Back in February 2015, Love was arrested for beating Ray J until he bled. According to TMZ, he was running down the hall of a New Orleans hotel with blood on his lip, prompting a security guard to call 911. She was booked for domestic abuse and battery but was released after he posted her bail.
Later in October, rumors of them getting engaged spread when she was spotted with a huge bling on her finger while attending the BET Hip Hop Awards. Love was playing it coy, saying, "I'm going to let [Ray J] tell you. I'm going to let him tell you. I actually forgot to put my ring on today. I just remembered!"
