Mark Salling's career is potentially ruined with the latest arrest. Producers of "Adi Shankar's Gods and Secrets", the movie which Salling was supposed to make a comeback in, are planning to drop the actor if he is charged with possession of child pornography.

"Today I was made aware of the serious allegations against Salling as a result of numerous media outlets hounding me as to whether he would remain in Gods and Secrets. I won't feed our growing pitchfork culture," director Adi Shankar told The Wrap. "I'm going to wait for all the facts to arrive and if in fact these allegations are true, I will immediately take action which includes removing his scenes from the project."

The movie, which also stars Kellan Lutz and Denise Richards, has been filming in Los Angeles but Shankar is currently in Dubai. Deadline's source said the filming is close to completion and Salling's arrest is not expected to affect the production.

Police arrested Salling on Tuesday, December 29 after raiding his home in Sunland, California on Sunday. Officers, who reportedly forced their way in with a battering ram, found "images and video of child pornography" on Salling's electronic devices. "I would imagine that would surprise anybody," Lt. Andrea Grossman of the LAPD Internet crimes against children task force said. "There were more than 100 (images)" including "disturbing" pictures of prepubescent children.

The original "Glee" cast was released on $20,000 bail and is due to appear in court on January 22, 2016.
