AceShowbiz - Though the "12 Days of Deadpool" has ended, the Merc With a Mouth still continues delivering some stuff using his ridiculous action. The red-suited superhero appears on the cover of the latest edition of Empire magazine and stars in an infomercial video, which is part of promotional efforts.
The magazine cover shows %cRyan Reynolds%' Deadpool in action with both of his hands holding swords. As for the infomercial, it sees the fourth wall-breaking superhero promoting the magazine and telling fans about what they can get if they buy the magazine.
He suggests fans to buy the issue "because your favorite Merc with the Mouth hijacked the entire editorial staff, and made the issue his very own." The centerfold, meanwhile, consists of "wall-to-wall **** goblins, ferret chasing leprechauns and a transcript of at least three of my worst films." According to the foul-mouthed hero, fans will also "get a limited edition eye infection, as well as backstage passes to my asshole."
"Deadpool" tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Reynolds is joined by the likes of %cMorena Baccarin%, %cBrianna Hildebrand% and %cT.J. Miller% in the cast. Directed by Tim Miller, the movie is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on February 12, 2016.
