Katie Holmes suggested that she would vote for Hillary Clinton. The "Dawson's Creek" alum took to Instagram on Thursday, December 17 to share a picture of her and daughter Suri Cruise meeting the Democratic Party presidential candidate at a private fundraiser event in New York.
The black-and-white picture saw Katie in a black long-sleeved shirt alongside her daughter Suri who held a plush toy. Hillary was joined by her daughter Chelsea Clinton who was pictured talking with Suri. They were all smiles in the said picture. "Mothers and daughters," the 37-year-old actress captioned it, adding the hashtag "we are with hillary" and a heart emoji.
Many fans were unhappy after learning that Tom Cruise's ex-wife attended Hillary's fundraiser event. User @likalis4 simply said, "Noooooo!" Another user @carolyndwilson1219 even elaborated, "If only you hadn't put the hashtag there. I like you Katie, but I gave you credit for intelligence. Hillary will be awful as President.
