AceShowbiz - Chance The Rapper was the musical guest for the Saturday, December 12 episode of "Saturday Night Live". The Chicago MC brought out a friend and hinted at a new mixtape as he made history by being the first-ever independent artist to perform on the long-running comedy show.

For his first song, Chance played a brand-new track called "Somewhere in Paradise" while busting out some impressive dance moves on the stage. He also surprised viewers when welcoming Jeremih to help him sing the chorus.

The R&B star makes cameo alongside R. Kelly on the upbeat, trumpet-heavy tune's studio version, which Chance has just dropped online via his SoundCloud page.

Later in the night, Chance treated viewers to "Sunday Morning" off Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment's "Surf" album. Donning a White Sox hat and jacket, he sat on a stool placed in the middle of the stage as a group of vocalists backed him throughout the song. At one point, he dropped a hint about a new mixtape when rapping, "Then the third tape slide down the chimney."
