Just because they have so many things to compare to each other, it doesn't mean Lady GaGa and Lana Del Rey can't be good friends. The two ladies, who were from New York and are among the biggest female artists in the music industry right now, proved it in a photo the Mother Monster shared on Instagram Friday, December 11.
The black-and-white picture was clearly taken while they were attending the 2015 Billboard Women in Music luncheon. Woman of the Year honoree GaGa is featured posing next to Del Rey, who is all smiles as she holds her own Trailblazer trophy from the same event.
"Brooklyn Baby," GaGa captioned the snap, referring to a song from Del Rey's 2014 album "Ultraviolence". Reacting to the photo, fans flooded the comment section with praises for both songbirds. "DYING!!! They so AMAZIN!" wrote a user. "They need to collaborate asap. Two strong voices and creative minds," another added.
However, things haven't always been friendly between the two ladies. For some reasons, Del Rey once dissed the "American Horror Story: Hotel" star on a song called "So Legit" that leaked back in 2013. The war, fortunately, never continued.
