The 'Hands to Myself' singer liked NHL star Tom's Instagram photo allegedly to see whether or not Justin was serious about reconciling with her.

Selena Gomez had an online flirting with ice hockey player Tom Wilson by liking his Instagram photo. According to HollywoodLife.com, the "Good for You" singer wanted to see whether or not her on-/off-boyfriend Justin Bieber was serious about reconciling with her.
"Selena thinks Tom is hot, that's exactly why she liked his Instagram post," a source told the news outlet. "She wasn't aware he had a girlfriend, and she's been flirting with other guys because of her situation with Justin and how he can't seem to commit to her."
The "Hands to Myself" singer supposedly tried to see whether or not Justin was serious about reconciling with her. "She's protecting herself from getting hurt by Justin again by hedging her bets, and Selena's also forcing his hand to see if he wants to be in a relationship with her," the source continued.
A few days ago, Justin posted on Instagram a throwback picture of both of them together as a couple. The picture was taken during a trip in Canada last year. The news outlet claimed that the throwback picture was a sign that Selena's plan might have worked as it came a day after she liked Tom's Instagram picture.
On the same day Justin posted the throwback picture, he shared with his 46.5 followers on Instagram pictures of him playing and watching ice hockey. He probably posted the pictures to show Selena that he could play ice hockey just like Tom.
