The next "Men in Black" film, "Men in Black 4", may have a female lead sporting the MIB's signature style. Speaking with BBC's Newsbeat, producer Laurie MacDonald revealed that the upcoming movie would feature "a prominent woman in black."

McDonald, along with her husband and producing partner Walter Parkes, previously indicated that original stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones would not be back to reprise their roles as Agent J and Agent K. However, Parkes later said, "Never count Will out."

Parkes hinted that they're still in "quite early" stages. "We sort of looked at the first three in retrospect as a bit of a trilogy. We tried to tell a story about those two characters and that relationship," Parkes said of the plan for the fourth film.

"It sounds silly because it's a fun, science fiction comedy but when you work on these things you sort of try to find some thematic basis underneath it. Now we are looking at a reinvention, but it's a wonderful world to get back into," he added.

Back in 2014, leaked emails from the Sony hack revealed that the studio was planning a crossover movie between "Men in Black" and "21 Jump Street" with Smith and Jones not expected to come back for the film. However, the project has yet to be developed.
