It's official, Len Goodman is returning to "Dancing with the Stars". The English professional ballroom dancer, who departed the show before the 21st installment began, is confirmed to return as judge for the next season.

Goodman delivered the good news himself via a video message during the season 21 finale which aired on Tuesday night, November 24. It's followed by a tweet on the show's official Twitter which read, "@GrumpyLGoodman will be back next season! Retweet if you're looking forward to having him home! #DWTSFinale."

Goodman joined the long-running dancing competition series since its debut in 2005. He had been the head judge on the show in the first 20 seasons. Showrunner Rob Wade said in August that the 71-year-old wouldn't return for the 21st season "due to his schedule as a judge on 'Strictly Come Dancing' in the U.K. and the birth of his new grandson."

Following Goodman's exit, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough, who was added to the panel in season 19, are the regular judges in season 21.
