Lucasfilm has debuted a new still ahead of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" release. Making its way out via Empire, the new still features Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma in a battlefield.

The female Chrometrooper looks badass holding her weapon while seemingly shooting enemies. There isn't a lot of information available about who actually Phasma is, but she appears to be one of the mightiest antagonists. In the upcoming movie, she will join other villains such as Domhnall Gleeson's General Hux and Andy Serkis' Supreme Leader Snoke.

"The Force Awakens" takes place approximately 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi", and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses and Jedi.

Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are back to reprise their respective roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia. Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Lupita Nyong'o are also in the lineup. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the seventh episode of "Star Wars" movie franchise will hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
