AceShowbiz - Following first-look photos of Mary J. Blige as Evillene or the Wicked Witch of the West, her performance in "The Wiz Live!" has been previewed in a new promo video. The singer belts out "No Bad News" from the hit musical before she asks, "Is that a drop of water?" She then angrily screams, "I hate water!"

Another sneak peek offers a glimpse of Queen Latifah's the titular Wiz singing, "So you wanted to meet the Wizard. Let me tell you that you've come to the right place." She also tells Dorothy and her friends that they must kill the Wicked Witch.

NBC's "The Wiz Live!", an adaptation of a 1975 Broadway hit based on "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", reimagines L. Frank Baum's tale with an all-black cast and an NYC-inspired Land of Oz. It follows Dorothy, a young woman from Kansas, who is swept up in a tornado and relocated to a fantasy world. She eventually takes a path down a yellow brick road to find a wizard who can help her go home and along the way meets a scarecrow, tin man and cowardly lion, who all learn to help one another.

Shanice Williams plays Dorothy, Alan Grier is the Cowardly Lion, Ne-Yo stars as the Tin Man, Elijah Kelley portrays the Scarecrow, Common stars as the Bouncer, Uzo Aduba is Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, and Amber Riley portrays Addaperle, the Good Witch of the North.

The holiday special is set to air Thursday, December 3 on NBC.
