Having scored two No. 1 albums on Billboard 200, Ariana Grande is certainly looking forward to topping the chart once again with her next studio effort, "Moonlight". While it's still unknown when she'll release what will be her third full-length, she showed that repeating the feat wouldn't be impossible for her when she stormed the charts with her latest single "Focus".

Serving as the first offering from the record, the horn-heavy catchy track imediately drew comparison to her 2014 smash "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea. However, it didn't mean her fans hated it. It started on Billboard Hot 100 at No. 7, making Grande the first and only artist to have all lead singles from her first three albums debut inside the list's top 10.

Responding to the comparisons, Grande said "Focus" didn't really represent the new sound of her upcoming album. During an interview with U.K. radio station KISS, she revealed, "That's why I put 'Focus' first because it's the only one that sort of sounds like that." She added, "I've been putting little snippets on my Snapchat here and there of a couple things, but I can't say yet because it's not done."

Grande is currently working hard on finishing her "Moonlight" album and she's pretty satisfied with where it's going. "I've been working on it over the past year while I've also been on tour," she went on sharing. "I'm excited for the next couple of months to not only finish the record but to have actual undivided time where I can really just focus on the music."

"I'm really happy with what we've done so far, but I just feel like once I finally get the time to really dedicate myself 100 percent I'm going to maybe outdo what we've already done. Maybe," she continued.
