Remember that new Kanye West song debuted during his Yeezy Season 2 runway show last September? The full version of that track called "Fade" has now landed online, thanks to DONDA creative director Virgil Abloh who played it at his recent DJ set.
Under his DJ alias Flat White, Abloh was DJing at XOYO in London when he treated the crowd to West's collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and rapper Post Malone. "Very rare, very new," he told the crowd before the intro kicked in.
"Fade" is presumably a cut of West's long-awaited new album, "Swish". Fans have heard about the follow-up to 2013's "Yeezus" since earlier this year, but the rapper has yet to set an official release date for it.
He recently admitted in a radio interview that the project was progressing very slowly, but he promised the finished product would be worth the long wait. "I still just kept working and trying to find the language that I wanted to say on my album. Just going in the lab every night," he shared. "It's soundin' good, like a sonic painting. And it gets better and better every week."
