What is Vandal Savage's (Casper Crump) role in the upcoming reunion of Arrow and The Flash? In a preview for the next episode of "The Flash", which also serves as the first part of the crossover event, the Star City and the Central City heroes team up to fight against the big baddie.

"The man you're looking for is Vandal Savage," says Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) who also appears in the said outing. He's "an immortal," someone else says. That's why Arrow and The Flash need extra force and Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) are brought in.

But these two new characters appear to have a disagreement about whether or not they should take part in this fight. Hawkgirl a.k.a. Kendra Saunders is later seen spreading her wings in an attempt to fly, though she seemingly still can't control her power.

"Legends of Today" airs Tuesday, December 1 at 8/7c on The CW. Vandal Savage arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders. After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings a.k.a. Hawkman shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.
