A group of trans people, who don't like the 'I Am Cait' star to be the advocate for trans community, confront her in Chicago and say, 'You are an insult to trans people.'

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner received backlash from some members of a transgender community. The "I Am Cait" star was confronted by protestors after she delivered a speech at the Chicago House fundraiser luncheon at the Hilton hotel on Thursday, November 12.

In a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Caitlyn tried to talk with the protestors. However, the protestors didn't seem to listen to her. One of the protestors even asked Caitlyn not to touch her. They could be heard saying, "You are an insult to trans people. You have no right to represent us. You are an insult. ... We have been assaulted by police ... We have been violated by the system."

"The chaos outside was a great contrast to the uplifting atmosphere inside where Caitlyn had just given her speech," B96 Chicago radio personality Showbiz Shelly, who witnessed the confrontation, told the news outlet. "I thought she handled the situation with poise. By confronting the protesters in the way she did, she emphasized the themes she talked about in her speech. To be respectful, be brave and stand up for what you believe in."

A production source confirmed to the news outlet that "I Am Cait" cameras were rolling at the event for its second season. "The group was outside when we showed up with Caitlyn. They weren't as aggressive when we got there like they were when we left. We've been rolling all day. We were rolling when we arrived, inside the luncheon while she spoke to the group and when we left to follow Caitlyn to her car," said the source. "We didn't know Caitlyn was going to talk back to the protesters... None of it was staged."
