Rihanna's fans weren't the only ones left bummed out when she canceled her scheduled performance at the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Following the annual event in New York City on Tuesday, November 10, the Bajan beauty herself expressed disappointment for missing chance to be there.

According to an Instagram photo below, RiRi sent a lovely note to everyone involved in the show. "Wish I was there with you guys. Kill it tonight. See you all next time, Love, Rihanna," read the message which was found backstage attached to some red balloons.

RiRi scrapped her gig at the Victoria's Secret event saying that she would continue working on her long-awaited new album, "Anti". However, a rumor then emerged claiming that she made the decision after black model Jourdan Dunn was removed from the line-up and replaced by Kendall Jenner.

Filling RiRi's shoes for the Tuesday show was Ellie Goulding. The British songbird joined other performers including Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.
