Shonda Rhimes and the casts of 'Scandal', 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'How to Get Away with Murder' will present a special look at the upcoming movie on ABC this Thursday.

Following the final trailer of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" that was debuted last month, Disney and LucasFilm are planning to show some more footage from the film. Shonda Rhimes took to Twitter to announce that she would join the casts of "Scandal", "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" to present a special look at "The Force Awakens" during ABC's Shondaland programming block on Thursday, November 12.
Set 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi", the upcoming sci-fi movie introduces some new characters such as John Boyega's Finn, Daisy Ridley's Rey and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron as well as Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are back to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia respectively.

Ridley and Boyega lead the cast which also includes Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. The seventh episode of "Star Wars" movie franchise will be released Statesides on December 18.
