Halle Berry stole the attention at her first red carpet appearance since announcing divorce from Olivier Martinez. The awards-winning actress looked stunning as she attended "Spectre" - The Black Women of Bond Tribute at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, October 3.
The 49-year-old actress looked mesmerizing in a light blue sleeveless dress. The asymmetrical dress featured a halter neck. While putting her wavy hair loose, she completed her look with black arm band and strappy heels. During her apparance at the star-studded event, Halle was photographed rocking her wedding band.
The event was organized in conjunction with the African American Film Critics Association, to honor the black actresses who have contributed to the James Bond franchise. In addition, it was held in anticipation of the latest installment of James Bond franchise, "Spectre", hitting theaters November 6. Other celebrities in attendance included Naomie Harris, Elise Neal, Chante Moore and Angela Gibbs.
Halle attended the event just a day after her ex-husband David Justice opened up about their doomed marriage in the wake of her divorce from third husband Olivier. "Yup..Me, Eric [Benet], Gabriel [Aubry] and Olivier were all her 'Knight in Shining Armor', until it ends..Then we all become the worst guys in history," David wrote on Twitter. "Only the guys in the relationship with Halle know the real deal..there will be another, of course. He'll be called 'The Best' until it ends."
Halle and Olivier announced their divorce in late October after two years of marriage. They said in a joint statement, "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce." While they cited irreconcilable differences as the reason of their separation, some news outlets claimed that their divorce was caused by geographical and cultural issues. However, the most recent report said that actress Ashley Greene was seeing Olivier and had caused the now-estranged couple's split.
