Turns out, LeBron James is such a huge fan of Prince. For Halloween this year, the NBA superstar dressed up like the veteran singer and even played an impromptu mini-concert as him at a party held over the weekend.
Some photos and videos of James channeling Prince were shared on Instagram by the basketball player himself as well as by his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates. Wearing a wig and long leopard-print scarf while holding a white guitar, he poses with some friends in one snap he captioned, "About last night. #SquadTies #HappyHalloween."
During the event, James showed off his singing skills when covering some of Prince's hits including his most iconic one, "Purple Rain". "Only want to see you... @kingjames," fellow Cavaliers star Kevin Love wrote alongside an Instagram video of the performance. James is seen unleashing his inner rock star in another clip shared by Mo Williams.
James posted a collage of photos taken during his show. "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince grace the stage. Epic performance by the man himself! Hahahaha ," he joked in the caption.
