Harrison Ford Reveals He Got 'Retrograde Amnesia' After Plane Crash
Celebrity

The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actor says he didn't remember much about the accident because of 'retrograde amnesia.'

AceShowbiz -

Harrison Ford talked about his plane crash during a recent visit to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Wearing a hotdog costume in the spirit of Halloween, the 73-year-old actor recounted what happened that day although his memory of the accident was limited.

"I remember the engine stopping, I remember that part very well," Ford explained to Jimmy Kimmel who dressed up as Princess Leia as a nod to Ford's upcoming film. "And then I remember telling the tower what I was going to do. And then I remember their suggestion."

"Their suggestion was that I take the normal route to land and I knew I wasn't going to do that, so I said no. And that's the last thing that I remember until five days afterwards actually," the Han Solo depicter added to the host. "I'm told by the doctors that the amount of general anesthetic that I got induced a retrograde amnesia."
