While Lamar is 'slowly making progress' on his condition, '[Khloe] wants to be there so that whenever he opens his eyes, he sees her,' says a source.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian wants to stay by her estranged husband Lamar Odom's side while he's recovering from his critical condition, according to PEOPLE. A source told the outlet that she "won't leave his side."
"She wants to be there so that whenever he opens his eyes, he sees her," said the source of Khloe. Another source said that the 31-year-old reality TV star "is happy he is off the ventilator and is breathing on his own, but she is still scared and still concerned. He's woken up and his heart is stronger, but there is still concern about his organs."
As of Sunday, October 18, "Lamar is slowly making progress," an insider told E! News. "Today has been a good day. There's a lot of praying going on." He reportedly passed a swallow test, a promising sign of neurological function. He was also able to leave his hospital bed and move to a chair with assistance.
As previously reported, Lamar was conscious on Friday afternoon, three days after he was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital. "He opened his eyes and made a sound," said a source, adding that he's able to say, "Hi," to Khloe and, "Good morning," to his doctor. Lamar "has been taken completely off the ventilator" but is "still wearing an oxygen mask to increase his oxygen levels."
