The talk show host and the actress are no longer dating following a tumultuous month for O'Donnell.

AceShowbiz - It's the end of the story for Rosie O'Donnell and Tatum O'Neal. The couple, who never publicly confirmed their relationship, has split after only four months of dating.
O'Donnell went through a lot of family drama in the past few months during which she was in relationship with O'Neal. Her father died in August from cancer and her adopted daughter moved out of her house in the same month to live with the birth mother. All of these contributed to straining their relationship.
"They broke up. It wasn't working. In their four months together, they went through a lot: Rosie's father died, her daughter [Chelsea] ran away, there was a lot of of tumult. It was too much," a source told PEOPLE. The source added, "Tatum wouldn't mind meeting a nice girl. She is back on the market."
Meanwhile, a rep for O'Donnell insisted that the two never dated, telling PEOPLE on Friday "they're friends." The talk show host was last seen taking a boat trip with O'Neal over a month ago in West Palm Beach Florida. Despite frequently seen together, O'Donnell's rep said in May that the women were never "romantically involved."
