Selena Gomez blasted break-up rumors surrounding her BFF Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. In an interview with Andy Cohen for his SiriusXM radio show on Monday, October 12, Selena was asked about the rumors and called it "stupid."
"I think I would have found that out. Is that a rumor?" the "Good for You" hitmaker said, "Honestly, it's so stupid. I'm pregnant every week, [Taylor's] gonna be pregnant. It's so stupid, like you can't really read that stuff."
Following Selena's comments, Calvin took to Twitter to shut down the rumors, threatening to take legal action over the false tabloid stories. "It's not going to be a 'happy ending' for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bullshit stories bye bye," wrote the "How Deep Is Your Love" hitmaker.
Earlier in the day, Radar Online reported that Taylor dumped Calvin after photos of him leaving a Thai massage parlor emerged. According to the site, Taylor's boyfriend was seen leaving the massage parlor in L.A. after two hours visit on September 12.
A "so-called" insider claimed Taylor "was immediately suspicious about happened inside." Another source close to Calvin told the site "nothing untoward occurred." But, "when the photos got posted on RadarOnline, Taylor said to him, 'What the f**k?!" the insider said, before adding that the DJ "has his own masseuse, on staff."
But rather than come clean about what really happened, the insider claimed, "He lied to her. He gave some bullis**t excuse that his masseuse was sick and he needed his shoulder worked on." That wasn't good enough for Taylor who gave him the boot for good "about a week ago," the insider added.
According to the insider, Calvin briefly attempted to change Taylor's mind, "begging that she let him meet her at her first Nashville show." The insider continued, "He wanted to fly in to see her and repair things, but her assistant called and gave him a firm 'No.' Instead he went to Vegas with his bros."
