Three more names will roast the comedian who is honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this month.

AceShowbiz - There will be more comedians that Eddie Murphy can handle. Tracy Morgan has joined the line-up of celebrities scheduled to pay tribute to Murphy at the Kennedy Center in Washington on October 18.

The venue announced Morgan, George Lopez and Brittany Howard as the additional roasters on Monday, October 5. Murphy is receiving the award of Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, an honor for those who influence society in the tradition of Samuel Clemens aka writer and satirist Mark Twain.

"Eddie Murphy has kept us laughing for 30 years. He's like Mark Twain. He gets to the heart of a provocative issue, and he's damn funny while he's doing it," one of the show's executive producers Cappy McGarr said in April. "He has had incredible influence over so many comedians who have followed him." Murphy said, "I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Kennedy Center and to join the distinguished list of past recipients of this award."

The tribute show, which raises funds for the Center's educational and artistic initiative, will be broadcast November 23 on PBS. Other performers that have been announced are Chris Rock, Jay Pharoah, Kevin Nealon, Joe Piscopo, Kathy Griffin, Arsenio Hall, Dave Chappelle, Trevor Noah and Whitney Cummings.
