A new promo for the CW series gives a first look at the big baddie of season 2, while Teddy Sears shares a new picture of his character Jay Garrick.

The CW knows how to keep fans excited while waiting for the return of "The Flash". The network has just released a new promo for season 2 that offers a glimpse of the new big baddie, Zoom, who will be voiced by Tony Todd. The villain isn't clearly seen in the dark scene, but he looks scary with his blue eyes.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said of the villain, "Reverse Flash felt like a warrior, and what we wanted this time was something more akin to a monster. When you finally see Zoom, he looks like a demon, and it's really scary. It's more horrific."
The video also hints at the fate of Firestorm, who was created by fusing together Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). Since Garber will move to a new spin-off, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", it appears that the show will introduce Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) as the new half of Firestorm.
Meanwhile, Teddy Sears recently shared a new picture of his character Jay Garrick. The photo gives a clearer look at the Speedster costume.
"The Flash" season 2 kicks off Tuesday, October 6 at 8 P.M. on The CW. The show has just added "Candyman" star Vanessa Williams (II) (not the "Ugly Betty" star of the same name) to the cast to play Iris' (Candice Patton) mom.
