Jovovich took to Instagram to tease fans with some on-set photos which feature herself and co-star Larter on the filming set in Cape Town, South Africa.

As production of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" has officially started, Milla Jovovich, who reprises her role as Alice, shared two photos from the set of the movie. The first image features herself with co-star Ali Larter in front of a wall which is covered in license plates.
Jovovich posted the picture on Instagram and captioned it, "These badass ladies be back! On set with @therealalil. #aliceandclaire #residentevilmovie #capetowndiary." Based on the caption she wrote, the production takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, the same location where the previous movies were mainly filmed.
The photo shows Jovovich wearing a tactical vest with blood spreads over his chest, indicating that she will be involved in epic battle scenes. Meanwhile, Larter looks natural wearing a red blazer over a white shirt.
Jovovich also shared another photo from the set that captures a crew member and herself with right hand covered with a band aid.
In "The Final Chapter", Alice returns to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against her. In a race against time, Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle, with undead hordes and new mutant monsters, to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
Other names in the cast are Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose and Eoin Macken. The action adventure movie is slated for a release in U.S. theaters on January 27, 2017.
