A man named John Bonavia, 31, who once appeared on "Millionaire Matchmaker" has been arrested for assaulting a woman. He's the second "millionaire" from the Patti Stanger-hosted Bravo TV show to land in the slammer for domestic violence.
According to LA Times, Bonavia was taken into police custody after officers found a woman with "significant facial and upper body injuries." He was reportedly uncooperative and cops had to kick open the front door to save the brutalized victim from him.
The self-proclaimed womanizer was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, resisting arrest, and a probation violation. He is being held without bail and faces one felony count each of domestic violence with great bodily injury and criminal threats.
Earlier this month, another "Millionaire Matchmaker" contestant Michael Bernback was charged with eight felonies including forcible rape, rape of an unconscious person, and administering a drug to commit rape. He was also facing three misdemeanor charges for alleged possession of ecstasy, cocaine, and GHB. He is due in court on Monday.
