According to a source, Camila sets the record straight on rumors saying that she's dating the Canadian singer as saying that their relationship is not more than just friendship.

Fifth Harmony's member Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are not dating despite a recent report saying that the two were in a romantic relationship. According to Just Jared, Camila told Ryan Seacrest in an interview which will air on September 23 that the two were "just friends."
A source told the website, during the interview, Ryan asked Camila about the status of her relationship with Shawn. The "Worth It" singer quickly set the record straight on the rumors and said their relationship wasn't a romance.
The two became friends when Shawn and Fifth Harmony joined Camila's then-boyfriend Austin Mahone's tour in 2014. Camila and Austin ended their relationship last November, nearly two years after they're first reported dating.
Shawn and Camila were first romantically linked this summer. The two continued to fuel dating rumors as they were often seen hanging out together. Camila wasn't even hesitant to post on Instagram photos of their togetherness over the past couple months.
Earlier this month, Camila posted on the social media a black-and-white video showing the two covering Destiny's Child's "Say My Name". Most recently, the 18-year-old songstress posted a photo that showed her "sleeping" on Shawn's shoulder. "@shawnmendes and i are in desperate need of caffeine. #iheartradio," she captioned the adorable photo.
