The 'Sunday Candy' rapper welcomed a baby girl and he took to Instagram on Monday, September 21 to share the exciting news as saying, 'I got to take my child home... I love this time in my life.'

AceShowbiz - Chance The Rapper is now the father of a baby girl. The 22-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Monday, September 21 to share the exciting news and thank whoever had helped her and his girlfriend during her pregnancy and delivery.
The "Sunday Candy" rapper posted a picture of a hospital wristband which read, "Parent." Chance didn't share any details regarding his daughter's date of birth, weight and height but opted to caption the picture with a lengthy note.
"I got to take my child home," Chance began the note, before expressing his gratitude to God and people who had helped him and his girlfriend during the delivery, "Thank God, her mother, our families, the medical staff at Women's Prentice and an amazing organization called The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago."
Chance was very excited about the birth of his daughter as saying, "I love this time in my life, and I've learned to love better because of it." He then explained why he wanted to keep her birth details undisclosed. "I wanted make a grandiose and poetic statement with her weight and size and DOB to show how much this means to me but I think it'd be more appropriate and fatherly of me to just say thanks to those who helped us during this pregnancy, and ask for a little privacy in this time for me and my new family to get settled."
Back in July, Chance hinted at the forthcoming birth of his first baby by posting on the social media a photo showing growing baby bump of an unidentified woman. The "Wanna Be Cool" rapper captioned it, "Coming soon," alongside a heart emoji.
