The singer's One Direction pals also serenaded him with 'Happy Birthday' during the Foxborough concert taking place on Saturday, September 12, a day before he turned 22.

AceShowbiz - Niall Horan had an early birthday celebration at One Direction's concert at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Saturday night, September 12. The singer, who turned 22 on Sunday, aptly covered Taylor Swift's hit "22" to mark the occasion.

In some videos taken and shared online by concertgoers, Niall was playing his guitar as he led a massive singalong to the single off the former country diva's "Red" album. Unfortunately, he could only sing the first few lines of the chorus. He stopped the performance mid-song and admitted to the crowd he didn't know the rest of the lyrics.

The other One Direction members also helped Niall celebrate his big day by serenading him with "Happy Birthday". Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne gathered around him onstage and sang the tune with the help of fans in attendance.

The Foxborough concert was the last North American stop on One Direction's "On the Road Again" tour. The boys will continue the tour in London later this month and visit other European cities before wrapping things up in late October and starting their year-long hiatus next year.
