Chelsea Clinton shares her opinion to MTV News about Kanye West's presidential announcement. The only daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton calls Kanye's mid-VMAs declaration "awesome."
"I definitely think who runs for office is really important," Chelsea says. "Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, 'Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,' that's awesome."
When asked if she would support Kanye if he actually decides to run in 2020, the 35-year-old woman replies, "I think it depends on who he'd be running against," as a nod to the fact that if her mother wins the presidential election in 2016, she could be running against Kim Kardashian's husband for a second term.

Previously, Ice Cube and Taylor Swift showed their support for Kanye's 2020 presidential run. Ice told Daily Mail, "I'm voting for Kanye. Why not? Who's better than Kanye to run?" Taylor, meanwhile, jokingly offered to serve as Kanye's running mate by posting a picture of her with a block of flowers from the "Stronger" rapper. "Awww Kanye sent me the coolest flowers!! #KanTay2020 #BFFs," she captioned it.
