After "Arrow" star Paul Blackthorne tweeted a photo from the set a few days ago showing Rutina Wesley as Lady Cop, a new image of the character has been shared by director Lexi Alexander. She posted on her own Twitter page a photo of Wesley donning the Star City police uniform sans her helmet.

"What an honor it was to work with the amazingly talented badass @rutinaofficial. Hope we get to do it again...," Alexander wrote in a caption of the picture. She directed the episode in which Wesley would first appear as Liza Warner.

The character is described as a member of the anti-vigilante task force who is also known as Lady Cop in the DC Comics. Her team is assigned to take down Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) when he returns to Star City.

Wesley is booked for a multi-episode arc for season 4. She joins other new cast members, including Alexander Calvert (Lonnie Machin/Anarky), Echo Kellum (Mister Terrific), Jimmy Akingbola (Baron Reiter), JR Bourne (villain Double Down a.k.a. Jeremy Tell) and Ryan Robbins (Conklin, a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire).

The new season of "Arrow" premieres Wednesday, October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW. The first full trailer for the fourth season was recently debuted online, featuring Constantine (Matt Ryan), Damien Dhark (Neal McDonough), Mr. Terrific and Anarky among other new characters.
