Following the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" toys and merchandise, Lucasfilm releases three new posters for the upcoming sci-fi movie. One of the posters features several "Star Wars" central characters along with spaceships.

Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, wielding a lightsaber, becomes the focus of the first poster. Also featured in the poster art are Daisy Ridley's Rey, John Boyega's Finn, Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron and Peter Mayhew's Chewbacca. On the right side, there are some Stormtroopers, who are recruited by The First Order, including a Flametrooper. C-3PO, R2-D2, TIE fighters, BB-8 and Millennium Falcon are also seen in the poster.

The second poster features Ren in action with his lightsaber while the third poster shows The First Order armies assembled and ready to fight.

Additionally, Walt Disney Records has announced that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" soundtrack by Oscar winner composer John Williams will be in stores on December 18, the same day the J.J. Abrams-directed film hits U.S. theaters.

"The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi", and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses and Jedi.

Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher reprise their roles as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia respectively. Andy Serkis and Domhnall Gleeson are also in the cast.
